Paul A. O'Hurley's Obituary
Paul O'Hurley was only 58 years young when an infection took him from this world on December 29th, 2024. To the very last breath, Paul was a loving, caring and generous man. He would always lend a helping hand when it was needed, and he was especially caring when it came to his close friends and family. Though in the end he drifted apart from many of his friends because of his failing health, he still loved them and thought of them often.
He was an amazing man-- strong, loving, and very punny. He loved seeing smiles on his loved one’s faces, or seeing us have a strong reaction to his dad jokes. He was always interested in trying new things. He had an eye for photography, an ear for music, and amazing vocals to relax or bring joy to others' faces. And most of all, he loved his friends and family.
He cared for those he loved, even at his own expense. He would give his own shirt off his back for those he loved. His daughter, Taeryn, said it best, "I love you, dad. I’ll love you till the day I die. Wherever you are, I hope you’re at peace, happy, and pain free. I will miss you."
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Angela Ogletree, and his devoted daughter, Taeryn Ogletree. The world has become less with his passing but the impact of his kindness and generosity lives on in the hearts of those who knew and love him.
