Paul Jack Keating's Obituary
Paul Jack Keating was born in Seattle on May 5, 1924, and passed away in Tacoma on February 10, 2005, after a long illness due to asbestos exposure.Paul was a graduate of Lincoln High School. For 26 years he worked for the Tacoma School District, retiring as a chief operating engineer in 1989. Paul was an avid and longtime collector of insulators, enjoyed genealogy, bird-watching, gardening, and sports on television - especially the Mariners and Sonics.Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul E. and Vera (Turnbull) Keating.He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Inez; sons Gary and Kevin; daughter Kathy; and two grandchildren.The family wishes to thank all of the doctors and nurses who have cared for Paul over the years, especially Dr. David E. Lee, Dr. Philip C. Craven, and the nurses on 10D at St. JosephÂ's for the past month.Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252.
