Paul Douglas Crawford's Obituary
Paul Douglas Crawford, age 68, was born February 3, 1949 in Tuscumbia, Alabama and moved to Tacoma, Washington with his mother as a small child. Paul went to be with the Lord on September 12, 2017 after his struggle with cancer. He attended schools in the Tacoma district and graduated from Stadium High School. Paul spent a short time in the United States Navy. Because of his love for food, Paul received a Culinary Arts degree and enjoyed preparing a variety dishes. Paul loved to dress and took great pride in his looks, from his relaxed straight hair to his Stacy Adam shoes. He was never fully dressed without his smile that generated love, warmth and happiness. He was preceded in death by his father, brother, grandparents, several uncles and aunts. Paul was the oldest of eight children and leaves to mourn his passing: mother Virginia Evans; two sisters Ronnie Green and Patrice Taylor; four brothers David (Ruby) Hayes, Gregory (Racheal) Hayes, George (Rita) Hayes and Joseph Evans. He also leaves to mourn his passing two aunts Martha Lee and Mary Reed; numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, and his special friend "Jane" and many friends in Tacoma and Seattle area. We thank God for blessing us with "Doug", as he was so lovingly called by his family.
