Patty Reynolds' Obituary
Patty Reynolds passed away peacefully on January 2nd after her lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born on November 9th, 1950, to her parents Ed and Billie Ann Ploof, Patty grew up in Sumner, and spent her early adult years there with her husband, Gary, and her two sons, Chris and Curt, before moving to Tacoma to begin working for the Tacoma School District. Patty spent her entire career as the Office Coordinator at Edison Elementary where she served with distinction the students and faculty of the school she truly loved for 38 years. She married Bob Reynolds in 1990 and the couple spent many years together traveling to Montana and North Dakota and enjoying their cabin on Ohop Lake.
Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, and father, Ed. She is survived by a loving family that includes her mother, Billie Ann (Ploof) Crabtree, siblings, Marsha Breen, Betty Ann Holmes, and Ed (Denise) Ploof, sons Chris (Laurie) and Curt (Jesi) Plumb, stepsons Pat and Scott Crabtree, stepchildren Debbie (Bruce) Banfield, and Marty Reynolds, grandchildren Bailey (Jack) Rose, Wyatt, Gage, and Lyric Plumb, Nicole Hunter, and Blake and Bryce Banfield, great grandchildren Jameson, Landyn, Jaxson, Leighton, Madeline and Aiden Banfield, and Natalee Kondratyuk and Camden Carr.
The family will hold a celebration of Patty’s life in the spring. Finalized date will be announced via social media.
