Patrick H. Nicholson's Obituary
Patrick was born May 29th, 1941, passed away peacefully on April 29th, 2013 after battling illness. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Nicholson, who passed April 28th, 1999. Patrick was a devoted and well respected business man, beloved father, brother, and Naval Veteran. Patrick served in the U.S. Navy from 10/25/1958-5/25/1962. After the Navy he became a Police Officer in Oakland, California. After 6 years, he began working for Wells Fargo bank in Marina Del Rey, CA. After Wells Fargo, Patrick went to work for Puget Sound National Bank in Tacoma, Washington as Vice President and Branch Manager. Many years later, he transitioned into Key Bank in Tacoma and Lakewood where he was a Senior Vice President. Patrick took early retirement to care for his ill wife, Sandra. After her passing, he began working for Sterling Savings Bank as VP Team Leader of Tacoma Private Banking, until his retirement.
Patrick was active in Rotary, Boys and Girls Club, and The American Legion. He completed a program at the Pacific Coast Banking School. Patrick touched the lives of many through his banking career and was considered a mentor by many. He is survived by his sons: Patrick Nicholson, Jr., of Sequim, Wa, Danny Nicholson and Kenny Paul of Reno, Nevada, Brothers Glen Nicholson of Citrus Heights, CA, Jack Nicholson of San Francisco, CA, and sister Roxie Beritich of Tacoma, Wa. Patrick moved to Sequim four years ago to be near his son, Patrick Jr.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 3, 2013 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.
