Patricia Kathleen (Gordon) Zumhoff
Patricia Kathleen Zumhoff Patricia Kathleen Zumhoff (Gordon) passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 27th, 2011. Pat was born in Vancouver, B.C. on July 31st, 1926 to Harold and Kathleen Gordon (Mackenzie). She grew up on Lake Chelan in the mining village of Holden, and later moved back to Vancouver, where she lived with very special extended family members. She later moved to Tacoma with her parents in 1939. She attended Stadium High School, where she met and later married Norman Ralph Zumhoff, her husband of 64 years. Patsy had a deep love for family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, and had a special fondness for animals. She was preceded in death by her sister Geraldine Lamanno. She is survived by her husband Norman, son Michael, daughters Sharon Skaggs and Wendy Yabsley (Dennis), brother Robert Gordon, brothers-in-law Joseph Lamanno and Robert Zumhoff, sister-in-law Marilyn Brian(Zumhoff), and numerous nieces and nephews. A private family service and burial will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Pierce County Animal Welfare, 8504 Chambers Creek Road W., University Place, WA 98467-4005.
