Patricia Triesch's Obituary
Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother passed away on July 9, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. Pat Triesch was born in Urbana, Illinois on March 7, 1931. She moved to Tacoma, Washington in 1957. Pat was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, and sister. Mom to five, grandmother to ten, great-grandmother to 17 with two more on the way, and great-great-grandmother to three. Known as Mom, Mom-O-Grandma, Granny, Grams, Great-Grandma Mom-O and Mumsie by succeeding generations. A devoted mother, Pat divided her time between kids, soccer, and family. She was also known as "The Cake Lady" by her church.
She is survived by her sister Rosalie Stewart, brother Karl Smith (Linda), daughters Donna Hays (Robert), Barbara Abshier, Callie Leighton (Ron), and sons James Triesch (Tracey) and Melvin Triesch, Jr. (Chris) and the many grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren that she was blessed with. And of the many nieces and nephews a special thanks to Anita Hays for all the love, care and support she has given Mom.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Mountain View Memorial Park. A reception will follow.
