Patricia Ann Thomas' Obituary
Patricia Thomas was born Patricia Ann Loggins on Monday, October 1,1948 to Jocephus and Viola Loggins in Wichita, Kansas. She was the sixth child of twelve.
Pat, as she was affectionately known, spent her childhood and formative years in her hometown, until her adventurous and headstrong spirit led her to move to New York City in 1972. Later on in 1985, after a short return home, Pat again moved across the country to set her roots down in Tacoma,Wa.
Pat's bold and sparkling personality served her well in her new home and in 1990, she landed a coveted position as a machinist for Boeing. She went on to flourish in her newfound career, build treasured friendships and secure a long sought sense of stability for herself and her children.
Pat died peacefully in her home November 18, 2023. She was loved deeply and will forever be remembered as a delightfully witty, charmingly warm and unfailingly solid mother, sister and friend. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the pleasure to know her.
She is survived by:
Her loving daughters Cassandra and Dietra
Her beautiful granddaughter Lauryn
Her precious, precious great-grandson Maberiq
Her beloved siblings Willard, Larue, Joyce, Barbara, Joe Jr., Marcus, Donald, and sweet Linda Kay
As well as a whole host of adoring nieces and nephews.
