Patricia M. Nino's Obituary
Patricia Maureen Nino passed away March 31, 2011, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Pat was born Feb. 11, 1940 and grew up in Tacoma, graduating from St. Leo's in 1958. She dedicated her life to her family, and worked many years at the Tacoma Public Library and the American Plywood Association. She had a passion for helping others and volunteered for the Catholic Community Services, Relay for Life, American Heart Association and St. Leo's Catholic Church. Pat had many interests including knitting, sewing, gardening, reading and shopping. Pat is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ron, her daughters Lisa (Chuck), Karin (Brett), and her son Michael. She has three grandchildren, Evan, Spencer and Sophia. She is also survived by her 94 year old mother, Grace and brothers, Jim (Rita), John (Mary-Pat), sister-in-law Chris and families. Pat was preceded in death by her father, Martin and brother, Bill. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Allenmore Hospital for their compassion and excellent care of Pat in her final days.
Pat's services will be held at St. Leo's Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 6th at 5:30 pm, followed by a dinner reception at Bellarmine Student Center.
