Patricia Louise McKnight's Obituary
Patricia Vogel McKnightPatt was born March 17, 1941 in Pasadena, CA, to Bill and Helen Vogel and passed away, after a short illness, March 12, 2003 at St. Claire Hospital in Tacoma, WA. Patt resided in Tacoma most of her life and attended Sheridan Elementary, Gault Jr. High, and Lincoln High schools in Tacoma. Patt was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed camping, working in her garden, and adored all animals, especially her birds and squirrels, which she fed every day. Her cat, Ebby, is missing her very much. Patt was employed for 25 years, by the Franklin Pierce School Dist. in food services, in the cafeteria, at Washington High School. She was well thought of by the staff and students.Patt is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Dale, her sons: Stephen (Jeannie) McKnight, of Graham, WA, and Michael McKnight of Tacoma, her much loved grandsons: Christopher Riddle and his mother Sheryl, of Gig Harbor, WA, and Jared Cutright, of Graham, WA, her sisters-in-law, Nancy (Bob) Kercher and Rosemary Vogel, of Tacoma, her aunt, Louise Gardner and cousins, Martha (Duane) Larson, and Mary (Don) Gonzalas and several nieces and nephews. Patt was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Helen and her brother Billy. We will miss you Patt, you will be loved and forever remembered.In lieu of flowers a rememberance may be made to the Tacoma Humane Society.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at 3:00 PM in the Mt. View Garden Chapel.
