Patricia Jane Jines' Obituary
Patricia passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 4, 2015 from lung cancer.
Patricia J. Jines is survived by her children, Lynda Harper and James Jines, and her grandchildren Tina Harper, Deana Howland, Brittany Haun, and Alysia Jines. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Stella Hathaway, her sister, Betty Smith, her husband, Jack Jines and her son, Dale Stahl. She was born on May 5, 1935 in Tacoma Washington. She was 15 years old when she married Lawrence Stahl.
She loved to dance and learned at a young age during family parties when she was taught by a friend named, Dale. Her love of dance was a lifelong passion. She named her son after Dale, the one who taught a young girl to dance.She had two children of her marriage to Larry; Lynda and Dale Stahl.
Her first marriage ended in divorce and she re-married to Jack Jines. She and Jack had a child, James Jines. She had become a military wife moving every year to a different city. Ultimately she settled in Tacoma and the surrounding area. She and Jack were members of the Elks where they danced regularly. She always put family first and was fast to help and support all of her children.
A funeral is scheduled for Sunday, February 15th at the Garden Chapel at Mt View with a reception to follow at 1434 N Highland Street Tacoma WA 98406. Pastor Larry Huffman will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Patricia Jines’s life.
The family would like to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them during this time of loss.
