Patricia Ann Gill's Obituary
Our family has lost its shining light—our mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Patricia Ann Gill. Born on November 6th, 1946, Patricia graced our lives with her sassy wit and boundless love until her peaceful passing on March 27th, 2025.
Patricia's life was a tapestry woven with resilience and optimism. She was resilient, facing life's challenges with unwavering strength, and optimistic, always finding the silver lining in every situation. Her honesty was refreshing, and her compassion touched everyone she met. Ever supportive, she stood by her loved ones with unwavering loyalty.
Her greatest joy was her family. Patricia was the beloved mother of Melissa Desruisseau and her husband Anthony, and Christopher Gill and his wife Alejandra. She adored her grandchildren, Andrea and Sebastian, who were the light of her life. As a sister to Michael Reffner, she shared a bond of love and camaraderie that spanned a lifetime.
Patricia had a zest for life that was contagious. She loved reading, getting lost in stories that ignited her imagination. A fervent sports enthusiast, she never missed a game, especially when cheering on the Seattle Mariners. Her adventures took her around the globe, as travel was one of her greatest passions.
Family gatherings were filled with laughter and warmth, often centered around shared activities like volunteering at the South Bay Fire Department and simply enjoying each other's company. Her pets held a special place in her heart, and she showered them with as much love as she did her family.
Patricia's sassy sarcasm and quick wit made every conversation memorable. She had a way of lifting spirits and bringing joy to any room she entered. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and a life fully lived.
As we remember Patricia, we hold onto the countless memories that she gifted us—the laughter, the love, and the lessons she imparted. She will forever be missed but never forgotten.
Please join us in celebrating her life and honoring the remarkable woman she was.
