Patricia Ethel Clother.Patricia Ethel Clother (Pat) passed away November 19, 2003. She was born to Leslie and Ethel Tremblay in Ione, Washington on April 10, 1927. She later moved to Tacoma graduating from Lincoln High in 1944. She completed her studies in nursing at St. JosephÂ's in 1948. Pat met her husband Â"TurkÂ" Clother on McKinley Hill and they married in the fall of 1948 and enjoyed nearly 50 years together before his death in 1998. She worked at Western Clinic until 1951, after which she became a full time mom raising her three sons. Pat was active in scouting and public schools, and served as PTA President for a time. She loved music, especially blues and jazz, and supported local musicians. She spent time in service with the Crisis clinic in the early 70Â's, and later worked at Puget Sound HospitalÂ's mental health unit until her retirement in 1986. Pat enjoyed her retirement years playing the piano, gardening, heading up the neighborhood watch, and shared a love for dollhouses with her husband. She lived a life in service to others and leaves a legacy of the lives she touched in a positive way. She is survived by her three sons, Michael and wife Jacque, Scott and wife Lynette, and Alan and wife Cynthia, as well as 11 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.Services will be Monday, November 24, 2003 at 1 pm at the Mountain View Garden Chapel.
