Patricia Marie Crockett's Obituary
Patricia "Pat" Crockett, 75, of Seattle, WA, passed away on July 4, 2023. She was born on September 7, 1947, in Vancouver, WA, to the late George and Hannah Smith. Pat was known for her warm smile, friendly nature, and sense of humor. She had a special fondness for animals, particularly dogs, and enjoyed baking treats for them when dog sitting. Pat also loved baking and celebrating special events with her loved ones. In fact, whenever she would hear of a birthday you could always count on her for a special cake.
Pat is survived by her children, Tony Ridgeway, Nick Ridgeway, Christina Ridgeway, Andrew Ridgeway, and Marvin "Willie" Crockett Jr. She is also survived by her brother, Steve Smith, and his wife, Tanya, as well as her nieces, Tammy and Linda Allison. Pat was preceded in death by her sister, Terese Allison.
After completing her education at Providence Academy and Our Lady of Lourdes, Pat began her career as a NICU nurse. Over the years, she held various nursing positions before transitioning to the US Postal Service. There, she not only served as a dedicated postal carrier but also took on the role of a union representative, advocating for her fellow postal workers. Pat's dedication and commitment were also reflected in her involvement in writing the monthly communication to her colleagues.
Pat worshipped at St. John Bosco. She found solace and community within her place of worship.
In her free time, Pat enjoyed reading, immersing herself in different worlds through books.
A viewing will be held from 9 am to 1 pm at Mountainview Memorial Park, followed by a graveside service at 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Pat.
Patricia Crockett will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her warm smile, kind heart, and love for others will be cherished and remembered always.
