Patricia Anne Channing's Obituary
Patricia was born December 14, 1924 to Heber and Marjorie Morford in Tacoma, Washington. She passed away on July 14, 2015 with her daughters at her side. She is survived by daughters Bonnie (Neal) Forrester and Susan (Pete) Harum, grandchildren Jim Forrester, Carole Sylliaasen, Katherine, Allison, Amanda, and Michael Harum and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Don and son Michael.
Patricia’s early childhood was on a small farm near White Bluffs Washington. The family later moved to Seattle where Pat attended Queen Anne High School. She married Don in 1945. They lived in Idaho and Arizona before settling in Lakewood in 1960. Pat worked at Boeing during the war years and later as a school secretary. She was the family historian and enjoyed studying family genealogy. She was an ardent bridge player until her illness a few months ago. She attended Lake City Community Church and was active in the senior programs and bible studies. Patricia was a good friend and a generous and loving mother, grandmother and nana. Services will be held at Mt. View Funeral Home (584-0252) in the Garden Chapel in Lakewood at 2:00 PM, July 22.
