Patricia A. Brown's Obituary
Mrs. Patricia Ann Brown, affectionately known as Pat, was the daughter of the late Annie Bell (Harrington) Allison and Jasper Allison Sr. Pat was born June 13, 1947 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Patricia Ann Brown was the youngest of ten siblings and attended E.E. Smith High school in North Carolina. She attended Clover Park Technical College, Pierce College, and graduated from the Job Corps. Pat was united in holy matrimony to the late Bishop Dr. Charles Elizoha Brown Sr. on December 21, 1968. From this union came three children, twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Pat was a devoted Eastern Star and a member of the American Junior Bowling Congress for over 20 years. Pate relocated to Tacoma, Washington in the 70’s. Pat’s greatest calling was working with children as a nurse at Rainier School in Buckley, Washington (1979-1983). She later worked as a customer service representative for the Army and Airforce Exchange service (1985-1988). With eagerness, Pat later transitioned to Joint-Based Lewis McChord Air Force Base Child Development centers in 1989.Her commitment and dedication did not go unnoticed. Pat received special recognition for 10 years of service at McChord and later retired after 15 years. She continued her work with children while serving as the Director/Program Supervisor at a center in Lakewood, Washington and retired again after 21 years. Pat enjoyed casino, playing at bingo halls, and sharing priceless moments with her grandchildren. Sister Brown found her second home at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in the late 70’s for over 40 years where she was still an active member. Sis. Brown was a devoted usher in the ministry for Mt.Sinai. As the usher youth director (officer) for many years, Sis.Brown was a phenomenal leader while holding office. Sis. Brown was an endearing woman of Christian faith and her presence brought many members of her church endearing comfort. Her life was beautiful, and her influence will forever be bonded to the hearts of many who knew her. Sis. Brown departed this life Tuesday, July 8, 2021 at St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor, Washington. Sis. Brown was preceded in death by Bishop Dr. Charles Elizoha Brown Sr. and her nine siblings of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and surrounding areas; Jasper Allison Jr., Mary (Allison) Green, Henry Allison, Hazel (Allison) Tiggs, Edgar Allison, Betty Allison, Helen (Allison) Malloy, Robert Allison, Ella Mae (Allison) Jones. Sister Brown had a zest for life, God and family that will forever be cherished by her children: Her two loving sons Charles Elijah Brown Jr., Tukwila, WA and Timothy Dwayne Brown, Tacoma, WA and her devoted daughter Anna Marie Brown, Tacoma, WA. Her twelve grandchildren of WA; ChaKeyla Cobb, Charles Brown III, Tyerel/Ciera Brown, Shanavea-Monisha/Jessy Brown, Treyvon/Maryssa Brown, La’Reya Brown, Areauna Brown, Tianna Brown, Adrian Brown, Trenton Brown and Quincy Brown; her five great-grand children of WA; Mya Brown, Teyrel Brown Jr., Kyro Brown , Journey Andrew and Rayven Brown; her daughters-in-law of WA; Sandra Harrison-Brown, Syteria(foster)Brown,; the Gordon Family; and a host of admirable nieces, aunts, nephews, cousins and friends.
