Patricia Ann Wallace's Obituary
Patricia Ann Wallace, age 62, passed away at her home the morning of Thursday, July 30, 2009. She was born July 24, 1947 in Denver, Colorado. Patricia was the daughter of Patrick William and Virginia Ann McCartney.
She was a strong Christian woman who served our lord Christ Jesus faithfully. Patricia utilized her spiritual gifts of compassion and giving in a variety of different ways, but is best known for doing so through her talents of arts and crafts. Although she loved to give, her devotion was striving to meet the needs of all God's children, friend or stranger.
Patricia is survived by her sisters, Carol Nuttman and Jean Valenzuela, children Christina Howard and her husband Dale, Sean Wallace and his wife Karie, seven grandchildren, who were the love of her life, Maria, Jordyn, Scot, Christian, Elayne, Aidan and Destinie, her niece Carol Ann Nuttman and her daughter Haley, nephews Patrick and Robert Valenzuela.
Patricia was a past worthy matron of Cedar Chapter #173 order of the Eastern Star. She worked her entire 30-plus year career for the phone company once known as Pacific NW Bell, which is currently called Qwest.
The funeral services will be on 8 August, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Cemetery, located at 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, Washington.
For anyone wishing to view Patricia one last time and say their good-byes, a viewing is possible on Friday, 7 August, 2009 between the hours of 3:00 and 9:00 p.m. In lieu of gifts or flowers, Patricia would like donations to be made to the American Cancer Society .
