Paridon Williams' Obituary
Paridon P. Williams passed away peacefully Sunday morning, August 28, 2022 at his Seattle, WA residence.
Born Paridon Paul Williams, March 3, 1961 in Tacoma, Washington to parents Lessie and Jimmie Smith.
Paridon grew up in Tacoma and attended Stanley Elementary, Hunt Jr High and Henry Foss High School where he was a highly recruited basketball player. He accepted a basketball scholarship to Grambling State University where he excelled and received his degree in Journalism.
Paridon once had a shirt which had “I’m 6’11” so don’t ask!” on it because so many people would be in awe of his height, his playful demeanor and his big smile that people loved. He was an avid photographer, social media blogger and spent many years mentoring ask-risk youth in Tacoma and surrounding areas. He considered all of them his kids.
Paridon’s most well-known accomplishment was being a self-published author with multiple books of which “50 Ways to Help Another” with notable quotes from family and strangers alike to lift others spirits. He was a selfless man who worried more about others than himself.
Paridon is survived by, 5 Brothers: James Tyner of Tacoma, WA, Johnny Williams of Tacoma, WA, Clayton Williams of Orange County, CA, Zhacary Smith of Atlanta, GA and Huey Berry of Seattle, WA. 3 Sons: Quinton, Leondrie and Aunrico. Nieces and Nephews: James Jr, Jaycia, Rebecca, Sabrina, Javon, Xavier, Clayton, Breanna, Soledad, Zoe, Monix, Xainna, Xavina and Micaiah and Great Nieces and Nephews, lifelong friends and internet countless internet followers.
The Viewing will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, Valley Chapel at 10am Friday September 16, 2022 followed by the Funeral Services at 1:00pm. Burial takes place at Oakwood Hill Cemetery at 2:30.
