OSCAR L. STEWART SR.
September 6, 1933 – December 27, 2013
A loving Husband, Father, Brother, Son and Uncle- Born in Kosciusko County, Indiana to Leo and Ferol Stewart.
He is now reunited in Heaven with his wife Barbara Ann, his Mother Ferol, Father Leo, Brother Joseph and Sister Nancy.
Oscar was a Loving Father to 8 Sons and 1 Daughter Sons: Mike Stewart, John Stewart, Joseph Stewart, and Danny Stewart and Daughter Dawn Marie(from his marriage to Mary Jane Stewart) and 4 Sons that he had with Barbara - Keith Edward Werner Sr. of Williamsberg, Ohio, Ronald Lee Werner of Franklin, WI., Wesley Alan Stewart of Tacoma, WA.And Oscar Leavon Stewart Jr. of Kenosha, WI.
Oscar was a caring Grandfather to 7 Grandsons and 2 Granddaughters.
Keith Werner Jr, Marilyn Gadzinski, Matt Werner, Chad Werner, Amanda Werner Children of Keith Werner Sr.
Eric Werner and U.S. MARINE CORP CPL. Joseph Werner Sons of Ronald Werner.
U.S. NAVY E-3 Geoffrey Stewart and Garrett Stewart sons of Oscar Stewart Jr.
Endearing Great-grandfather to 5 great-grandchildren –Allison Werner, Dakoda Werner, Ashley Werner, Hunter Werner, Aiden Werner andAubrey (Keith Jr’s children), Destiny Gadzinski andLanden Gadzinski (Marilyn’s children)
Daughter-in-law Michele (Keith’s wife) Daughter-in-law Patty (Wes’s acting wife) Daughter-in-law Jennifer (Oscar Jr’s wife)and Linda (Ron’s significant other)
There was a big place in Oscar heart for Patty’s (Wes’s acting wife ) kids Peter Ketvirtis his wife Nataha Ketvirtis, and Pamela Ketvirtis along with their children Mackenzie Ketvirtis, Careena Ketvirtis and Ray-Sean (Peter and Natasha’s Children) and Alaya Ketvirtis (Pamela’s Daughter).
Oscar had such a big heart that there was a very special place in it for each and everyone of the above mentioned people and for many nieces and nephews; and a great number of very close and good friends Dawna, Norm & Joyce, Betty, Jim, Patty & Charles and many, many more that will all miss him, and he will miss all of us. Goodbye dad, goodbye Papa, goodbye Uncle Oscar, goodbye old friend. We all love you so very much!!!
As he is welcomed into heaven: Hello Hon, hello Son, hello brother.
We know you are in a better place and happy to be with the loved ones that were taken from you so long ago – try not to worry about us, we will be ok and we know you will always be watching over us, and someday we will all be back together again – so goodbye for now.
A grave side service will be held at 12:30 PM Friday January 3. 2014, at Mountain View Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. S.W. Lakewood, WA. 98499.
