Orville Lee Swim
Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on December 28, 2015. Born August 18, 1938 to the late George and Jerva Swim. He had two brothers: Asel and Loren, and three Sisters: Betty, Lucille and Muriel, all of which preceded him in death. Orville attended public school in the Tacoma, WA area and spent four years of service in the United States Coast Guard. He worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator for Local #612.
Orville was a man of integrity with a dry sense of humor, empathy for others, love of Country music, working on cars- especially his ’63 Chevy Impala SS, enjoyed camping, spending time with family and friends and his loving dog Sophie.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Sue of 43 years; daughter’s Connie, Daria, Denise and their spouses; grandchildren, Jason, Meranda and Jared; and great-granddaughter Stella.
Funeral services for Orville will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park on Thursday, January 7th at 11:00AM in the Garden Chapel with a graveside committal to follow.
A reception will follow services at the Celebration of Life Center in the Willow room.
