Orvan "Pat" G. Daugherty's Obituary
Orvan "Pat" G. Daugherty, 80, passed away on March 9, 2015 in Puyallup, WA. He was born on October 5, 1934 in Yakima, WA to John L. and Jessie (Fulks) Daugherty.
Pat graduated from high school in Yakima. Following his education, he served our country in the U.S. Navy on the U.S. Midway. Following his military service, he moved to California working and caring for animals at The Humanes Society. He then moved home to Washington. He worked for Heidelberg Brewery Company in Tacoma as a forklift operator until they closed the factory. He then owned the Goldfish Tavern in Ruston. He finally retired with the Bank of America.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing pinochle, gin rummy and scrabble. The family will miss his great sense of humor and his great wisdom.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held from 11am to 2pm, Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Mountain View Celebration of Life Center Oak Room.
