Ora Jean Young
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God (NIV, Psalm 20:7) Our Mom was a woman of faith who loved and trusted God. (Ora) Jean Young was born in Bassano, Alberta, Canada to Stephen John and Helen Josephine McGuire on April 10, 1923. She was a loving mother, devoted wife, and loyal and caring friend. She passed on to join her husband, Lonnie D. Young, in Heaven on Friday, October 30, 2009.
She is survived by her three sons, Mark P. Young, Paul A. Young, and Stephen W. Young, daughter-in-law Anne Young, grandchildren Rocio, Miquel, Justin, Elizabeth, JD, and Kelly, and great-grandchildren Darrin, Kyra, Cassidy, Thatcher, and Jeffrey.
Funeral services will be held in the Mountain View Aspen Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Tacoma, WA 98499, (253) 584-0252, at 2p.m. Friday, November 6, 2009.
