Oneida Felton's Obituary
Oneida Artizmease Felton, 93 went home to glory on Saturday, December 8, 2012. Oneida was born on November 21, 1919 in Monroe, Louisiana.
Affectionately known as "Granny," Oneida proudly served God, family, and community. She spent a rewarding and successful career in nursing at Western State and Madigan Hospitals and after retirement, continued to work as a dedicated caregiver.
She lived a rich, blessed life and fully believed in living life to the fullest. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend with a heart of gold.
She is survived by her daughter, two granddaughters, five great grandchildren and a host of church family and friends.
Services will be held at True Vine Community Church on Monday, Dec. 17th at 11 a.m.
