Omar Haviland, 82, of Lakewood, passed away May 27, 2006. He was a 29 year veteran of the United States Army, serving in WWII, the Korean Conflict, and Viet Nam.He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Kay in 2004. He is survived by his daughters Mona Sapsford (Jan), and Lynda Fretz; 5 grandchildren, and 1 sister, Donna Bearden.
