Oma Ruth Birchler's Obituary
Ruth passed away peacefully on July 13, 2004 at age 81. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Rudy of 42 years. She is survived by her sisters; Mary and Fayrene (Ray), her son; Gary (Georgia), her daughters; Shirley Freudenstein (Max), Debra Kaledas, Diane Washington, her grandchildren; Lara, Jessica (Eugene), Angela, Aaron, Joseph, Ryan, Nick. Ruth was a gracious, selfless and kind woman who touched many lives up to the time of her passing. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. The family wishes to thank Tacoma Lutheran Home Staff (especially Jessica, Marti, Helga, Sara) and Franciscan Hospice Staff for their patience and special care for Ruth. Donations can be made to Tacoma Lutheran Home. Visitation will be Thursday, July 22, from 2-9pm with a memorial service at 3pm on July 23, in the Mt. View Valley Chapel.
