Odie Lynio Dawson's Obituary
Odie Lynio Dawson III, a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away suddenly 11/28/04 at the age of 45. By the grace of God, Odie is now with his Savior Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Rachel, two sons, Luke 20, who is in his third year at WSU, and Samuel, 3, who were both the joy of their dadÂ's life. Odie was much cherished by his parents, Penny and Odie, sisters, Lynne, Nanette, and Naomi, and also his many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Odie was born in San Antonio, TX and went home to the Lord in Lakewood, WA. Despite his physical challenges, Odie thanked God daily for his many blessings and touched countless lives with his testimony. His favorite stories were about his 1968 Chevrolet station wagon. His hobbies were coin collecting and woodworking. He spent many enjoyable hours working at Life Center Church in Bible Quiz and Royal Ranger ministries. Odie you were the most loving and giving husband a woman could ever have. Thank you for all the wonderful years God gave us together.Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 am, Thursday, December 2 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 10508 112th St. SW in Lakewood. Rosary will begin at 11:30 am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon. Graveside services will be at 2:30 pm at Mt. View Memorial Park.
