Norris J Thompson's Obituary
Norris James Thompson, 74, of Bonney Lake WA passed away on Tuesday September 8th, 2015 at the home of his son Steve Thompson after a long illness. He was born November 10th, 1940 in Tacoma WA. Norris graduated from Bellarmine High School, attended Seattle University and graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in Accounting. Norris joined the US Air Force in 1964 and went on to become a navigator bombardier on the B52 from 1964 through 1969. He returned to Washington to work for Honeywell Corporation as an accountant for 27 years.
Norris is survived by his two sons, Mike (Laura) and Steve (Andrea) Thompson and by his daughter Lisa (Corey) Campbell. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, his sister Corinne Butler and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Dustin and Audrey Thompson and grandson Jacob Campbell.
Graveside services for Norris with military honors will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood WA on Friday, September 25th, 2015 at 2:30 PM. A Gathering will be held prior to his Graveside Service at the Mountain View Funeral Home Forest Room at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are kindly invited.
Our Dad will be missed however we will be with him one day in heaven, what a glorious day that will be. We love you Dad.
