Norman R. LaFleche's Obituary
Norman Roland "Norm" LaFleche, 89, of Lakewood, Washington. Passed away peacefully on September 3, 2015. He was born October 25, 1925 in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Norman is survived by his son Robert and wife Monika of Margate, FL; his son Richard and family of WA; his grandson Tom of Lakewood,WA; four granddaughters; several great-grandchildren; longtime friend Ski Potoeski and family friend Alvin and Frances Clouse. He is preceded in death by his wife Maria.
Norman received his education in Springfield, MA. He proudly served in the Army during WWII and the Korean conflict. After his discharge, he worked for the Post Office as a mail carrier until he retired.
Norman was a hardworking man who loved gardening, the outdoors and doing volunteer work for various organizations such as the Lakewood Moose Lodge, the Tacoma VFW and the American Legion and others. He will be deeply missed.
A funeral for Norman will be held on Thursday, September 10th, at 2:00PM in the Garden Chapel, a graveside service will follow. Mountain View Funeral Home; 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA, 98499.
