Norman J Hoppe's Obituary
Norman was born on June 27, 1934, in Kalispell, MT and passed away on July 30, 2023, in Olympia, WA. He entered the USAF on Nov. 16, 1951, and was honorably discharged on Nov. 15, 1955. Stationed at McChord AFB, he met his wife of 51 years, Lois Ann Palm. He was a Lineman for the City of Tacoma for 31 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, dancing, golfing, making “Fast-track” game boards, and especially socializing.
Survived by his sons, John (Susan), Gregory (Karen); 3 granddaughters, Jessica, Samantha (Kyle), and Emily; 5 great-grandsons, Austin, Louis, Ingram, Landon, and Aiden, and one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth. Preceded in death by his wife, Lois Ann Hoppe (July 19, 2009). Because of his good nature, Norman was loved by many, and will be greatly missed.
A special “Thank you” to Gertha McFarland (committed partner) and her family for making the years after the loss of his wife not only bearable, but happy.
