I met Norman when I first started to work force on Bainbridge Island. I just graduated from high school and navigating my new journey. Norman helped me through a very challenging period when I needed help. A true friend and Mentor. He had a way of guiding and encouraging me. For many years I’ve wanted to thank him and it wasn’t until recently I’ve been able to track him down. Unfortunately he has passed and my condolences to his family and friends. He was a great man and friend and will be truly missed. God bless my friend, Greg.

I lost track of Norman about the time he sold the house on Linden Avenue. I am sorry to find that when I did finally get sincere about finding him, that he has passed. This hits me harder than I expected. Condolences to the remaining family. He was a real human being, a sincere guy, and someone who made the world better. He will be missed.

Norm was a terrific good friend and he will be greatly missed. He was a straight shooter and always there when help was needed. He was a model citizen of Seattle and the city definitely needs more like him. I will certainly miss him.
