Norman Charles Omage's Obituary
Norman Charles Omage May 2, 1927 - Feb. 15, 2009 Norm was a lifelong resident of the Tacoma and Gig Harbor area. He graduated from Fife High School in 1945 and was immediately drafted into the Army, serving in the Philippines until 1947. He then returned to Tacoma to work in his dad's meat market for a time. He later trained for and became an electronics technician, working in this profession until retirement in 1986. He married his high school sweetheart, Donna McAdam, who preceded him in death in 1996. They had two children, daughter Wendy Boyd (David) and son Steve (Jaye). In addition to his children he is survived by his second wife, Ann. Memorial services will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 7410 South 12th Street (12th & Jackson), Tacoma on February 28 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the church. Remembrances may be made to Tacoma Rescue Mission or to a favorite charity.
