Norman A. Runyan's Obituary
Longtime Tacoma resident died May 21, 2005 at the age of 83. Born in So. Dakota August 3, 1921. After graduating high school Norm entered the United States Army receiving several Medals including 2 Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. After completing his service to his country he spent the next 30+ years as the owner/operator of R & T Plumbing in Tacoma. After many years he finally retired so he could enjoy time with his family and friends. Norm was a wonderful and kind man and he will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his longtime companion Esther Panni, step-daughter Maria Panni and daughter-in-law Linda Runyan. He is survived by his son Robert of Peoria, AZ, step-daughter Toni Strehlow and step-son Zach Panni, Jr. both of Tacoma and step-daughter Donna Westmoreland of NE. Grandchildren Nikki Strehlow, Reenie Panni and Esther Marie Loyer. Military honors and graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Mountain View Memorial Park.
