Norma Nadine FreemanNorma Freeman 71, passed away on January 16, 2003. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1949. She was an active member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church for over 55 years. She was active at Fern Hill School, PTA president, Campfire Girls, Girl Scouts, and she received the Golden Acorn Award. Her love for her family and friends will be cherished. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Vernon in 1989 and her daughter Susan Buhman in 1970. Norma is survived by her son: Clinton Freeman, daughters: Jodie Trueblood (Allen), Jennifer Raab (Michael), son-in-law: James Buhman, 2 grandsons: Bryan Buhman (Becky), Jesse Bynum (Roxanne), 2 great-grandsons: Cain Bynum, and Clara Buhman, 2 brothers: James Patten (Joan), Donald Patten (Carlena), aunt and uncle Norma and Lloyd Smith and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.The family would like to thank the staff at Heartwood Extended Health Care for their loving care and support in her final days, as well as family and friends, who were there for Norma over the years with her struggle with cancer. Viewing will be Monday 3-9 PM at Mt. View Funeral Home. A funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 21, 2003, in the MT. View Garden Chapel.
