Nina Heilig's Obituary
Nina was born in Adna, WA on November 13, 1912. She loved and trusted the Lord as her Saviour and He took her home on October 20, 2012, just 3 weeks short of her 100th birthday. In 1931 she married Walter Heilig, who preceded her in death in 1998. Nina and Walter lived and operated a home-owned dairy farm in Fife for the 67 years of their marriage. Nina was an active member of Tops and Storytellers, a member of Mission Woods Presbyterian Church in Milton and a lifetime member of the Eagles. She was an excellent baker and was known for her fresh homemade bread and berry pies, fresh-picked from the garden. She is survived by four children: Geraldine Bach, Norman (Inez), Dan, and Don, and by one sister. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 29 at 1:00 PM at Mission Wood Presbyterian Church, 2003 Taylor St., Milton, WA. A reception will follow.
