Nina Gay Bishop was born February 6, 1932 in Blytheville, Arkansas to parents Lottie M. Henry (de)and John Bishop (de) . She was raised by her mother and stepfather, William B. Henry (de).
She graduated from Clover Park High School in 1950.
Nina married Gerald C. Carr (de), retired from Air Force, in March 1952.
Nina was sister to Nash Bishop (de) of Washington, Charlene Hartman of Pennsylvania, Sue Henry of Washington, Mary Coapstick (de) of Washington, and Vernie L Dunham of Washington.
She was a long, time resident of Steilacoom, Washington. Her profession was an Operations Officer/ Vice President of first Interstate Bank and Wells Fargo Bank.
Nina was a long time member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America.
She was the mother to Deborah G. Knudson of Arizona, Peggy A Christenson of Washington, and Kellie J. Anderson of Florida.
Nina was the proud grandmother of Becca Christenson of Washington, Mikayla West of Florida, and Emma Anderson of Florida.
