Jan, Tina, Matt and family: I found this poem, I read it now and then when I am missing Nick. Time has made our loss less painful but I still catch myself calling Austen "nick" by mistake sometimes. Love you guys, will always miss Nick. Aunt Donna

nick there are so many things i wish i could of said or talked to you about, like for starters how good of a brother you were or how much i appricated your drive and hard or tough love. i am truly and have been for along while now sorry for the way we were growing up and i so much wish things were differant. im sorry i wasnt the big sister you needed or the friend you could talk to. even though you are gone hailey will know her fearless uncle Nick! tell dad and granpa i love them. and Nick i love you and i will miss you more then you could ever know. rest now brother love you.##imported-begin##your sister and niece##imported-end##

I have had the pleasure of knowing Nick through Donny. Meeting Nick for the first time he was around twelve years of age and displayed a maturity and respect for others that resignated with me.
