Nick J. Mattern's Obituary
Nick passed away peacefully at home with his family. He retired from St. Regis of Tacoma in 1980 after 35 years. He leaves behind: his loving wife of 62 years, Katherine; daughter Geri Mattern of Baton Rouge, LA; son and wife, Jim and Alta Mattern, of Gig Harbor, WA; brother and wife, Kenny and Bea Mattern; nieces and nephews: Maylo, Gaynor, Travis, Mike, Vickie, and Amy; grandchildren: Faron, Torin, Marnie, and Danny; great grandchildren: Johnny and Joey. Nick is preceded in death by his daughter Arlene McKechnie. He will be missed by all who loved him.Viewing will be from 1pm to 9pm, Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004 at Mt. View Funeral Home. Services will be 12pm, Friday, Feb. 20, at the Mt. View Garden Chapel.
