I miss you more than I could ever put into words! & We have so many wonderful memories, but the one to top them all was May 20, 2016, the day that we brought our beautiful son Qaysen John Nicholas Solheim into this world! It was certainly one of the most amazing days of my life to date, & I just remember the look on Nicholas's face the first time he held him, so full of love & happiness! I love you Bear 💙💜
I knew Nick from his grandmother who is my oldest and dearest friend. I remember when he was born and his first 5 or 6 years......Then sadly life got in the way and I saw his life through my dear friend. She spoke of all the good times, troubles and triumphs....The last few years just how fiercely he loved and fought for his son....Then lastly he fought for a better life for his self....Questions and grief flood our minds in this unexplained loss.....Some things will never be understood this side of heaven.....Please know how much I care....
I unfortunately didn't know Nicholas as an adult. His grandmother Rosalyn Solhiem is my mothers best friend since kindergarten as well as both of their mothers. My son as well as many other kids in our family, Nicholas and Danny were around the same age so for many years proud and doting grandma Rosalyn attended many birthday party's! Nicholas I remember being such a happy fun loving little guy! Very sweet little boy. Through Rosalyn through the years is how I knew him, I know like many he had ups and downs, and many challenges, Some due too how kind he was and put others first, sacrificing himself. I also know he overcame many of those challenges with the constant unconditional love, faith, and support from his grandma. She believed in him, fiercely protected him (like a bear!! Lol!) and was his biggest fan! I am so so sorry for all his family and children for losing him just as he was getting started.
