Dear Karin, I lost touch with Neil sometime after 1969. We attended junior high school, high school and some time at Bellevue community college. We also worked together in crossroads at a box store. Later we rented an apartment on Newport hills. We ate, drank and shared many stories. I always remember him being happy, positive and excited for life.
I also remember a story he once told me. His dad had caught a man siphoning gas from his car tank. Rather than cause a problem he brought him inside, fed him and gave him gas money to get home.
I've thought of Neil many times over the years always wondering of his whereabouts. I always looked for him at our reunions but never saw him. Even though I can't see him now I will always remember his happy eyes and his smile.
Karin I remember you too and how happy you made him.
