Natale Joseph Luppino's Obituary
"Grandpa Nit"
Nit was able to enjoy a celebration of his life last year on his 95th birthday when his Italian family and ‘friends that are family’ gathered to honor him!
Born and raised in Tacoma, Nit graduated from Lincoln High School, served in World War II, had a career as a chief accountant, was a 70 year member of First Lutheran Church and lifetime member of the Elks.
After the war he married his sweetheart Dorothy who was his wife for 59 years. They raised daughter Debbie and in later years he was Dorothy’s dedicated caregiver for 9 years. He was a very proud grandfather to Brett and Derek Smith(Bekah). Nit was also blessed to enjoy his 2 great-granddaughters Layla and Keira.
Over the years Nit’s favorite things included music(playing the accordion and keyboard), bowling in his younger years, camping, watching old movies -especially John Wayne, and last but certainly not least, enjoying his cabin at Colony Surf.
Nit requested and the family is honoring a family only graveside.
