Napoleon 'Nap" Cabrera Cadungug's Obituary
Napoleon (Nap) Cabrera Cadungug passed away on July 10 in Steilacoom, Washington. Born in Corregidor, Philippines, on September 25, 1935, he came to the U.S. when he was 18 to join the army. After 20 years of service in the US Army, he retired as an SSG from the 864th Engineering Battalion and worked another 25 years as a civilian before retiring. He was always a sports fan, enjoyed bowling and ping-pong early in life, and later played softball on the church team until he was 60. He was a member of the Fourth-degree Knights of Columbus at St. John Bosco and remained active in his gardening, baking, and other activities with his family and the church. He is preceded in death by his father Delfin, brother Benjamin, half-brothers Delfin Jr. and Edward, and daughter Kara Cadungug-Lo. He is survived by his wife Marie and three remaining children Jane (Rink), Mark (Lisa), and James, son-in law Simon, and six grandchildren Vanessa (Nick), Anna, Marisa, Maranda, Marcus, and Ryan. He will be greatly missed by many.
