Naomi Kirkendall's Obituary
Naomi Kirkendall, 93, passed away August 17, 2013 in San Diego, CA. She was born on May 21, 1921 in Comanche, TX to Henry and Mable (Moony) McKinnerney.
Naomi worked as a cook for the Iron Horse Restaurant from 1973 to 1990. She loved to sew and spoke fluent Spanish. Naomi was proud to have been a part of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church quilting club in St. Simons Island, GA that sent over 100 quilts to third world countries.
She is survived by her sons Preston (Janice), Roland (Beverly) and Kenneth (Christa) Kirkendall; daughters Linda (Don) Blomberg, Norma (Darryl) Lind and Debra (Lloyd) Kaster; 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Naomi was preceded in death by her son Glen.
Graveside service will be held at 9:30am, Friday, August 23, 2013 at Mountain View Cemetery in Lakewood, WA.
