Naomi Elizabeth Hanley's Obituary
Naomi Elizabeth Hanley was a life-long resident of Tacoma, WA. She attended the Aquinas Academy for Girls, the St. Joseph School of Nursing, and Pacific Lutheran University. For many years she worked as a registered nurse at Tacoma hospitals and nursing homes. Later she became a social worker for the State of Washington Child Protective Services, working in the Tacoma office. Naomi’s hobbies included doll making, pottery and china painting. She displayed her creations at Northwest art shows. Naomi is survived by her sister Rosemary, her five children from Elmer Fjermedal, Kathleen, Lyle, Grant, Marc and Ross and 11 grandchildren. Her two husbands Elmer and James Hanley pre-deceased her. Naomi passed on April 26th at the age of 93.
