Nancy Welcker Smith's Obituary
Nancy Welcker Smith Born December 26, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away January 27, 2008. Nancy lived in Fircrest, Washington from 1965 until her death. She truly loved her family and enjoyed bridge, needlepoint, traveling, golf and socializing with her many good friends. She was a long time member of Fircrest Golf Club. She was optimistic and found abundant humor and joy in life. Her husband, Calvin B. Smith, preceded her in death 14 years ago. Nancy is survived by her sister Patricia, her five children, Steve (Aprille), Shauna (Dennis Day), Judey (Hal Hartzell), Tamara (Dave Badger), Ted (Robin), 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A reception will be held Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 1:00pm with funeral services at 1:30pm at the LDS Church, 4219 Breckonridge Dr. W., University Place, WA 98466.
