Nancy Maureen Mackenroth's Obituary
Nancy Mackenroth, after amazing everyone who witnessed her battle the debilitating effects of ALS, passed while asleep to a better place on Sunday, November 14, 2010. Nancy was born in February, 1942 to Marjorie and Morris Hayes in Denver CO. She was preceded in death by both her parents and her beloved brother, Jon, seven years her junior, who also succumbed to the effects of ALS in June of 2009.
Surviving are her five sons, Jim, Mitch, Doug, Phil, and Pat, their spouses and the seven grandchildren that she so dearly loved.
A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at 11:00 am on December 11th at the Pierce County Environmental Services Building, 9850 64th St. W., University Place.
