Nancy L. Horton's Obituary
Nancy Louise Horton passed away July 23, 2014 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Olympia, Washington. Born to Charles and Mildred Horton, May 12, 1949 in Tacoma, Washington, Nancy spent most of her life in the Oakville-Elma area. She graduated from Elma High School and from Western Washington University. She taught in one of the last one-room schools in eastern Idaho and later worked for several different agencies for the State of Washington.
Nancy was talented with the crochet needle; many of her family have an afghan made by her. She loved music especially the piano. She enjoyed short jaunts to visit with friends, family or to see new sights.
Nancy is survived by her three children: Darcy Muehlbauer, Thomas J. (TJ) Saunders, and Felicity Saunders, her three sisters, Arlyn Harris, Holly Breidenbach, Barbara Horton, and her brother, Howard Horton as well as her long-time friend, Randall L. Johnston.
All will miss her, her laughter, her courage and her zest for living.
