Nancy E. Gregory's Obituary
Nancy E. Gregory was a proud native Tacoma girl born June 30th, 1941, the eldest sibling of four children born to Herbert and Minnie Smith. She was a multi-skilled person, creative & talented beyond words. Working for her uncle, she met the love of her life, Bryan and they were married for 52 years. She was Mother to Jeannette (Bill), Cindy (Billy), Burt (Kim), and Colleen. She drove school buses for 27 years and ran a beautiful, beloved wedding cake business. She loved to bake bread, sew, dance, camp, travel, read and take care of loved ones. All the things that she loved came into play when hosting and participating in many dance parties, weddings, anniversaries, family reunions and holidays. She was a Blue Bird/Camp Fire Leader, and belonged to multiple dance clubs, the Eagles and enjoyed bunco. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Bud, daughter Naomi, and 2 granddaughters Katherine and Angela. She is survived by her sister Jean, brother Herb, 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Her memorial will be at Mt. View in Tacoma on October 22nd, 2023 at 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The celebration of her life will continue the same day at the Orting Eagles from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
