Nancy Marie Clark's Obituary
Our beloved wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Aunt, Nancy Marie Clark, has peacefully passed away on Sunday May 3rd, 2020 in Tacoma, Washington. She was born in Portland, Oregon June 24, 1936 to Patricia and Stanley Read. She is proceeded in death by two sisters Lorraine and Rosalie.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Stanley A. Clark, whom on May 7th, 2020 she would have been married 54 years. She is also survived by her sister Melva and her loving daughter's, Marsha (Steven) and Deanna (Robert), five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
For 17 years, Nancy was an Office Manager for Simmons Chiropractic Clinic. During this time, she made several professional lifelong friends. Several years after her tenure with Simmons Chiropractic Clinic, Nancy served as an Office Consult to round out her career.
Nancy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed her lunches at Hong Kong as well as dates with the girls at the casino. Nancy loved spending time with her remarkable cousin PJ, their love and friendship made them nearly inseparable. Holidays in the home were a small part of the things she loved. Her family and friends could expect her famous fudge and divinity at Christmas time. When she wasn’t baking goodies for friends and family her time was utilized (to be the first) to get Christmas cards out to all her friends and family. Her love for animals showed in how she took great pride and care in her beloved Pavi. When the fall came Nancy knew that hunting and camping season were near. The pure fresh air, the warmth from the fire and the great wilderness around made it one of her favorite things to do.
Nancy, your beautiful smile, amazing sense of style, your contagious laugh as well as your wonderful helping hands are only a handful of things that will never be forgotten. We will honor your legacy by loving as we think that you would have, attempt to cook and bake during the holidays as you would, and be the first the get those Christmas cards in the mail. Though you are no longer physically here with us we know you are watching down on us with all your love. We will love and miss you but will never forget you, forever and always.
Do to current circumstances, Celebration of Life to come sometime this summer. More information to come at a later date.
