Nam Ok Wakefield
Loving wife, Nam Ok Wakefield passed on Friday, May 23, 2025. She was born November 13, 1954 in DongDuChun, South Korea, to Yi Kuk Han and Kim Chun Ok. She graduated Shin-Hong High School in DongDuChun, South Korea. Nam met her wonderful husband, Christopher M Wakefield, and they married in 1974.
She proudly served her country in the Federal Government Civil Service as an Education Tech, GS-05 for 26 years. Her accomplishments while serving include completing numerous college courses, service awards, letters of appreciations, and outstanding Base System Civilian Evaluation Reports. Nam was honorably retired September 30, 2011. Nam and Chris settled in Lacey, Washington where they have been residing for 30 years.
Those left to honor her precious memories includes her friend, and loving husband of 51 years, Christopher M Wakefield, her brother, Lee Guen Soo, wife, and three daughters, resides in South Korea, and her sister, Kyong Suk Choi, husband, and two sons, resides in Tennessee.
"Nam we love you, and we thank God for the precious memories of love and compassion you left us. You will be greatly missed".
