Nachiko Freyman's Obituary
Nachiko Freyman, age 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Tacoma General Hospital, in Tacoma, Washington, with family by her side. Nachiko was born February 8, 1931 in Kyoto, Japan.
She married Harold C. Freyman on March 11, 1954 in the City of Kobe, Japan. She and Harold were married until his passing on December 10, 1981. Though they moved often because of the military and job changes, they made their final home in Tacoma.
Nachiko is survived by her two daughters, Micki and her husband Nick, Ruthann and her husband Chris, her brother, Akio, and his wife Masae, granddaughters, Corrine, Samantha, Stephanie and lastly her great-grandson, Andrew.
Nachiko spent many years as a leader in the SGI, and spent countless hours sharing the teachings of Nichiren Daishonin.
A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held July 29, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mountain View in the Celebration of Life Chapel. A reception will be held in the Willow Room following the memorial service.
